(Des Moines) The gasoline price in Iowa increased $.02 from last week’s price for an average of $2.10 across the state. Despite the increase, the average gasoline statewide price is still $.47 cheaper than one year ago. This week’s national average came in at $2.18 up to $.02 from last week’s price.
The per-barrel price of oil is up to $1.50 this week to $39.48, compared to $65.10 one year ago.
The price of ethanol rose $.09 this week, currently priced $1.21.
Retail diesel prices in Iowa were steady this week with a statewide average of $2.22, compared to a statewide average of $2.44. Diesel prices averaged $2.88 in Iowa one year ago.
Natural Gas prices rose $.01 at the Henry Hub reporting site at $1.69/MMbtu.
