Atlantic scored both of their runs in the 5th inning on bases loaded free passes-Kennedy Goergen walked and Maleana Woodward was hit by a pitch. Maddie Pierce walked with the bases loaded for Underwood’s only run. Olivia Engler pitched the win as Underwood stranded the tying run at 3rd base. Atlantic improves to 13-1 on the season.
Exira-EHK 6, Woodbine 3 (11 innings)
Exira-EHK earns the outright Rolling Valley Conference Championship, but Woodbine certainly made them earn it. Shay Burmeister, Alsia Partridge, Mollie Rasmussen, Kami Waymire, and Quinn Grubbs each had two hits. Waymire and Grubbs both drove in two runs in a dramatic 11 inning game. The Spartans are 11-0 overall.
SE Warren 12, Nodaway Valley 7
Alyssa Davis cranked her 5th home run of the year and posted her 21st RBI of the season. She has three homers over the last two games. Alyssa Davis, Corinne Bond, and McKynna Newbury each posted two hits with Bond posting a double. Additional base knocks came from Reagan Weinheimer, Madison Fry, Aubrey Van Otterloo, and Maddax DeVault.
