(Atlantic) Like many others, the Cass County Fairboard altered the schedule to protect the health of the youth exhibitors and spectators.
The livestock shows are show and goes, which means youth bring their livestock to the grounds on the day of the show, and remove them immediately after the show is over.
Unfortunately, there will not be an auction. However, the youth will have a market. Fair officials will secure a packer bid, which gives the child a market for their animals. Fair Officials are currently soliciting donations, and that money will be pooled and distributed to the youth marketing their livestock through the packer bid.
