Train Strikes Pedestrian in Council Bluffs

(Council Bluffs) Council Bluffs Police responded to a train/pedestrian accident in Council Bluffs on Monday night.

According to Police, the accident happened at around 10:38 p.m. at 2nd Avenue and S. 12th Street. Officers located the subject and applied pressure to the victims wound until the arrival of medics. The Rescue unit transported the subject to a local hospital for treatment.

The Union Pacific Railroad Police are investigating the accident.
