(Atlantic) Cass County Treasurer Tracey Marshall says deadlines for property taxes, driver’s license, and motor vehicle have been extended to July 25, per Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds extension of the Public Health Disaster Emergency Declaration in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The extension means property tax payments driver’s license, vehicle registration renewals, vehicle title registration, and license plates, won’t be due for another month.
Marshall says the office is open by appointment only for Cass County Citizens and encourages citizens to use online, mail, email, and the dropbox.
Make online payments at www.iowatreasurers.org, or by mail at Cass County Treasurer, 5 W 7th St, Atlantic, IA 50022, or use the drop box located outside the main entrance to the courthouse.
