(Greenfield) Commencement ceremonies will be held this Sunday, June 28, at 1:00 p.m., at the Gazebo at the Adair County Fairgrounds in Greenfield.
School officials originally re-scheduled the commencement ceremony for June 28, in the gymnasium and later canceled the event because of social distancing issues due to COVID-19. So the parents took it upon themselves and set up the ceremony at the fairgrounds.
According to the email sent to KSOM/KS95 News, the 2020 graduating class will wear their cap and gowns, their names will be announced as they walk individually across the stage.
Family and friends are invited to bring their lawn chairs and sit together as families, and spread out to respect social distancing guidelines.
