(Creston) Creston Police report one theft, one vandalism, and five arrests in the Department’s latest release.
Police say Carla Ott of Creston reported on Friday that sometime within the past several days someone lifted multiple items from her garage. The missing items include; two round point shovels, Truck Buddy, (round point), Trunk Buddy, (square point), square shovel, garden fork, and ice chopper/lawn edger. The loss is estimated at $105.00.
Taylor Groves of Creston reported to Police that sometime between 5am – 5:30 am on Friday someone threw a rock threw a rock through a window of her residence. The estimated damage is $250.
Creston Police on Friday arrested 36-year old Clay Pettit, of Creston on the charges of Driving While Suspended and Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Offense. He was released from the Union County Jail on a $1300 bond.
Police also arrested 44-year old Jeffrey Mc Alexander, 44, of Tingley on Saturday at Hwy 34/Creamery Rd on the charges of OWI 3rd or subsequent, Driving While Revoked, and Failure to Provide Proof of Financial Responsibility. He was released from the Union County Jail on a $5866.25
Creston Police arrested 22-year old Taylor Giles of Creston on Saturday outside of his residence on the charge of Harassment 3rd Degree. He was released from the Union County Jail on a $300 bond.
Also on Saturday, Creston Police arrested 34-year old Trel Peterson, of Creston for Interference with Official Acts and a Mills County Warrant for Violation of Probation. He was issued a Promise to Appear on a local charge and is awaiting transfer to Mills County.
-And Police on Saturday arrested 30-year old Kenny Cunningham of Creston at his residence on a Clarke County Warrant for Failure to Appear for Fingerprinting on the charge of Theft 5th. He was transferred to the custody of Clarke County.
