(Creston) A Union County man faces assault charges.
Police arrested 31-year old Steven Behlers of Creston on Friday at his residence for Domestic Abuse Assault by strangulation. At the time of this release, Behlers was awaiting transport to Polk County on a warrant for a Parole Violation.
Creston Police arrested 48-year old Brock Barrett of Creston on Saturday for Domestic Abuse Assault impeding Blood or Air Flow. Authorities transported Barrett to jail, where he is held on a $2,000 bond.
In another case; Police arrested Elizabeth Clayton of Lenox at the Law Enforcement Center on a Union County Warrant for Violation of a Pre-Trial Release. Clayton is being held in the Adams County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
In other activity: Police arrested 47-year old Shawn Connelly of Creston for driving while barred. Officer’s released Connelly on a summons to appear.
