Officers of the Red Oak Police Department arrested 46-year-old James Reed Mitroff of Red Oak on a domestic assault charge, a simple misdemeanor. After being taken into custody, Mitroff became combative and was also charged with assault on a Peace Officer (no injury), a serious misdemeanor. He is being held at the Montgomery County Jail on $1000 bond.
In a separate case, Deputies of the Adams County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41-year-old Christopher Lee Breece last night (Saturday). Breece was stopped by deputies for having no plates on his vehicle and was found to have a barred license. He was charged with driving while barred and is being held on $2000 bond.
