(Audubon) The main discussion item at Tuesday’s Audubon County Board of Supervisors Meeting was on reopening the courthouse.
A soft reopening is planned for June 3rd, here’s Supervisor’s Chairman Rick Thompson. “We’ve all talked to Supervisors from other counties and we are all trying to keep it somewhat the same time frame as other counties to do the same opening at the same time.”
The hope is to have offices opened up by June 15th, but that’s not set in stone. “We are going to try to get back to more of a normal day to day operation. We are going to have to watch the distancing and try to keep the number of people in the courthouse to a certain number. We’re doing what we can do.”
Thompson says the safety of county employees is a top priority.
