“While this is Adams County’s first case, it may not be the last, and that’s why we encourage residents to continue to make prevention a priority,” said Joan Gallagher, Adams County Public Health Administrator.
Adams County Public Health Officials urge all residents to:
*Stay home as much as possible, and leave only for essential errands like groceries or medication. And send one person per household to run these errands if possible.
*Stay home when even mildly ill.
*Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or your elbow, or upper arm.
*Wash hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
