(Guthrie Center) The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors accepted the letter of resignation from Guthrie County Auditor Marci McClellan this morning.
The Supervisors then approved a motion to appoint Deputy Auditor Dani Fink to fill the Guthrie County Auditor Vacancy.
The Board explained that once the appointment is published in the paper the public will have 14 days from the published date to protest the appointment and ask for a special election.
Marci McClellan resigned due to health reasons.
