(Greenfield) Two people were arrested on warrants in Adair County.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office arrested Michael Gail Steward, 38, of Fontanelle, on May 6th on a warrant for Assault – Displaying a Dangerous Weapon and five counts of Assault Causing Bodily Injury or Mental Illness. Steward was held on $7,000 cash bond.
Michael Eugene Matherly, 33, of Creston, was arrested May 7th on a two warrants, one was for Harassment 3rd Degree and Violation of a No Contact/Protective Order – Contempt. Matherly was released on his own recognizance.
