(Audubon) Audubon County Public Health reminds its residents not to put their guard down and become desensitized to the information that continues to flow from this pandemic.
Audubon County Public Health Director Bob Nelson said as of Wednesday, Audubon County had a total of eight positive COVID-19 cases. He says everyone can help prevent the spread of the virus and should watch for the following symptoms.
Nelson says Audubon County residents experiencing these symptoms should call their physician, or the Audubon County Memorial Hospital COVID-19 Call Center, at 563-5236. For those that feel they need testing should go to testiowa.com.
Nelson said to continue to wash hands, keep hands off the face, avoid close contact with sick people, and stay home if you’re sick. And wear a facemask in public, cover cough or sneeze with a tissue, and stay home as much as possible.
