(Des Moines) Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds announced today 302 new positive cases of COVID-19, for a total of 7,145 positive cases.
89 percent of today’s positive cases are from the 22 counties where restrictions remain in place.
198 of the 302 new positive cases are from Black Hawk, Dallas and Polk counties.
14 additional deaths have been reported.
There are 1,028 new negative cases for a total of 35,552.
42,667 total tests have been conducted in Iowa for a per capita rate of 1 in 74 Iowans.
2,697 Iowans that were diagnosed with COVID-19 have recovered, for a recovery rate of 38 percent.
