(Des Moines) The National Weather Service issued a Wind Advisory for all of southwest, south-central and portions of north-central Iowa goes into effect at noon and ends at 7:00 p.m. this evening.
* WHAT…North winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to around 45 mph
expected.
* WHERE…Portions of North Central into South Central and
Southwest Iowa.
* WHEN…From noon today to 7 PM CDT this evening.
* IMPACTS…Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects,
including unsecured tents. Tree limbs could be blown down and a
few power outages may result.
