(Jamaica) The Iowa State Patrol identifies the victims in the Dallas County crash that claimed the lives of two children and injured five other minors.
Iowa State Patrol Trooper and Public Information Officer Alex Dinkla tells KSOM/KS95 News the accident happened at 11:29 a.m. on Tuesday, at 12131 Beaumont Place in Jamaica. Dinkla says a 2014 Toyota Sienna mini-van traveling northbound on Beaumont Place for unknown reasons lost control and crashed into a farm field entrance.
Two minors identified as 5-year old Claire Brown, and 10-year old Lindsay Brown, both from Perry died in the crash. Authorities identified the five -injured as the driver, 16-year old Michael Marie Crane, 7-year old Eli Brown, 11-year old Katelyn Brown, all from Perry, and 11-year old Randy Seratt and 5-year old Carter West, both from Dawson.
