(Council Bluffs) Pottawattamie County Public Health Officials report five new positive cases of COVID-19.
The five individuals reside in Council Bluffs and include three males and two females, tested between April 13 and April 23. One is a child between the 0-17 years of age, two are 18-40, and two are between the ages of 41-60, two with pre-existing conditions, and three did not. Two of the new cases have been in contact with another positive, and the other three are victims of community spread. All five are self-isolating at home.
The five new positive cases bring the county total to 25. Seventeen recovered from the virus, none hospitalized, and seven people are self-isolating.
