(Council Bluffs) Pottawattamie County Public Health Officials say their COVID-19 positive cases remain at 18 as of 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Twelve have recovered, five are self-isolating at home, and there has been one death.
Pottawattamie County Public Health continues to work closely with meatpacking plants within the county as well as the Iowa Department of Public Health to mitigate any potential outbreaks at the facilities.
Region 4 consists of 12 counties in southwest Iowa and Crawford County in west-central Iowa. The following are the 12 counties and their COVID-19 status are listed below.
Audubon: 32 tested one confirmed case; one person recovered.
Adams: 23 tested no positive cases.
Cass: 65 tested one person confirmed positive, one person recovered.
Crawford: 55 tested six confirmed cases, five recovered, and one death.
Fremont: 24 tested no positive cases.
Harrison: 106 tested, 14 confirmed positive tests, 14 recovered.
Mills: 67 tested, 2 confirmed positive cases, two recovered.
Montgomery: 80 tested, one confirmed positive test, and one recovered.
Page: 137 tested, four confirmed positive cases, and three recovered.
Pottawattamie: 438 tested, 18 confirmed positive tests and one death.
Shelby: 67 tested, nine positive tests, eight recovered.
Taylor: 50 tested, one positive test and one recovered.
