(Sidney) A plane crashed in Fremont County on Friday afternoon.
The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened at around 12:40 p.m. approximately four miles north of Sidney. The pilot reported a mechanical problem before the crash landing.
Deputies found the plane in a pasture with significant front end and wing damage. The couple in the plane from St. Louis walked away from the crash uninjured.
The FAA is handling the accident.
The Fremont County Sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by Sidney Fire and Rescue.
