Football
It was a year for the record books in Audubon. They moved to the state semifinals with a 40-32 quarterfinal win over CAM. A 39-28 against St. Mary’s Remsen in the dome avenged the team’s only regular season loss and sent the Wheelers to their first state championship game since 1977. An experienced offensive line helped the Wheelers be among the most potent offensive teams in the state with Luke Mosinski, Eric Hermansen, and Tanner Petersen leading the way. Skyler Schultes, Kaiden Smith, Gavin Smith, Ethan Klocke, Joel Klocke, and Jackson Jensen made for a deep stable of weapons at the skill positions.
