(Shenandoah) One person riding a motorcycle died in a two-vehicle crash near Shenandoah.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at 5:15 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 2 and C Avenue.
State Police says a 1997 GMC Jimmy driven by 72-year old Michael Gene Flynn of Shenandoah, traveling east on Highway 2 slowed to turn left onto C Avenue. The motorcycle traveling behind the GMC braked hard and veered left of center and broadsided the SUV on the driver’s side. The driver of a 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle died in the accident. The person’s name hasn’t been released. Flynn was not hurt.
