(Council Bluffs) The Pottawattamie County Public Health Department on Monday reported an additional positive case of COVID-19, bringing the total to nine. The individual is a woman between the ages of 41-60 years old who had contact with a known case. Additionally, the female has pre-existing medical conditions.
Health Officials note the woman underwent a test on April 1 and had been in self-quarantine since that time. She was later admitted to Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs.
Pottawattamie County Public Health Officials say there are no known exposure locations, which are still under investigation.
