(Griswold) The Griswold School Board approved the hiring of Billy Hiatt as the new 6-12 principal.
Hiatt, from Oklahoma City, graduated from Noble High School in Oklahoma and attended Peru State College in Peru, Nebraska, where he played basketball and graduated with his Bachelors’s in 2000. Billy received his Master’s in Education Administration from the University of Oklahoma. Hiatt is in his 18th year of Education and 3rd year in administration and is currently the MS principal at Western Heights School District in Oklahoma City.
Billy’s wife Keri is a Glenwood native, and they are parents of four children, 14-year-old daughter Victoria, ten-year-old son Cade, eight-year-old daughter Ruthann, and one-year-old son Easton. Keri is a 3rd-grade teacher in Oklahoma City.
Billy is excited about the new opportunity at Griswold. He is passionate about being closer to family and friends. “I feel like Griswold is a great opportunity to further along with my career and make a difference with students and the community,” said Hiatt.
