(Griswold) A unique Easter Egg Hunt in underway in Griswold.
Chelsie Rush said there are Easter Eggs hung up around town that all have a letter on them. The letters can be put together to solve a puzzle.
“There is a Google form that you download; the form has a whole bunch of clues on it that lead you to each business or location that has a letter egg and once you collect all of those letters you solve the clue and submit it. We are doing drawings for all ages, everyone can participate, and we will send out a whole bunch of gift certificates at the end of it,” explained Rush.

Rush said the money raised during this event is going back to the local businesses.
“When I started kicking around the idea, the wonderful Griswold Optimists kicked in some money to get it going and that lead me into supporting businesses. We have started collecting money, a bunch of businesses have now kicked in little bits of money here and there and we are taking that money and throwing it back into the businesses with being able to purchase the gift certificates. So, businesses that might be struggling right now, we went ahead and are buying gift certificates from them so that people can support them later on when they are able to open,” said Rush.
The Great Egg Hunt of Griswold is going on until April 12th.
