(Atlantic) Atlantic Police Officers responded to the Dollar General Store at around 4:00 p.m. on Friday to investigate an incident involving a weapon.
According to the Police report, one man was giving another male subject grief about the number of personal products being purchase. This led to an argument that escalated to a point where one of the subjects displayed a weapon. The male subject brandishing the weapon left the store and waited outside for Police to arrive. Both parties cooperated with law enforcement, and no one was hurt. No one was arrested and no charges have been filed at this time. The incident is still under investigation.
