(Atlantic) The Atlantic Police Department announced with a heavy heart that they are cancelling their summer activities.
Those activities include the Zoo trip, Camp Out, Golf Tournament, and Family Night Out. The backbone of these programs is donations and sponsorships from many local businesses.
The Police Department says with businesses doing whatever they can to stay afloat and the uncertainty of when this pandemic will be over, they have made the decision to put these programs on hold for this summer.
