(Creston) The Union County Sheriff’s Office reports one arrest and two theft incidents.
Jeffrey Michael Hoffman, 32, of Creston, was arrested Sunday at 10:16 PM for Burglary 3rd Degree after he was caught removing items from a storage unit that did not belong to him. Hoffman is being held in the Union County Jail on $5,000 bond.
Bradley Scadden, of Creston, reported on March 26th at 8:50 AM that sometime in the past few days someone took his 2008 Chevy Impala from the Cromwell Cemetery where it had been parked since Monday because it was having issues and wouldn’t start. The vehicle was recovered in Creston.
Russell Kelley, of Thayer, reported March 29th at 8:33 AM that sometime during the night four Motorola private band radios were taken from his farm machinery. The estimated value is $4,000.
