(Atlantic) Atlantic Food Pantry Officials are accepting donations during the COVID-19 pandemic Mondays’ and Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Officials are seeking food donations as well during this situation. The latest information is posted below.

Hours: Thursdays, 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM (or until the line ends – please come at 1 PM)
Food Referrals will not be needed, and clients may come to the pantry as needed during this epidemic time.
Food Distribution
Food will be distributed in an “express” fashion with sacks pre-prepared inside the pantry to limit wait time and reduce traffic inside the pantry building. Distribution to clients will occur outside the front door of the pantry. Only pantry volunteers will be allowed inside the pantry.
Donation Suggestions
Someone will be at the pantry Mondays and Thursdays 9:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. to accept donations during the Covid-19 epidemic.
Cash donations are always needed for purchases of staples given out regularly and may be brought to the pantry or mailed to the Atlantic Food Pantry, 19 W. 4th Street, Atlantic, IA, 50022.
The pantry is currently giving out certain foods, so we are asking that food donations please focus on the following items:

*Cream of mushroom soup
*Tomato soup
*Chicken noodle soup
*Ramen noodles (chicken, beef)
*Hamburger helper
beef ravioli (cans)
*Instant sides (packages) – pasta & sauce or potato
*Cereal (boxes)
*Jiffy corn muffin mix
*Bread
*Crackers (saltine)
*Canned fruit (peaches, pears, applesauce, cocktail)
*Bar soap
*Tuna (cans)
*Macaroni and cheese
*Canned corn, green beans, peas (12-15 oz. cans)
*Toilet paper
*Peanut butter (18 oz. creamy)
*“Quick” oats (no milk needed)
*“complete” pancake & waffle mix (no milk)
