(Audubon) The City of Audubon is seeking applicants as part of the grant application process to perform home repairs.
Laurie Gilbert, with Audubon County Economic Development, said the funds are through the Community Development Block Grant.
“They are changing things up this year. It’s been available every year, but this time it is a first come, first served application for the cities and there is not match required,” said Gilbert. “What it will involve is getting six homeowners applications, income verified, if the city is awarded they would be able to get up to $24,999 in grant to do exterior repairs.”
Eligible rehabilitation may include items such as lead-based paint reduction, roof or window replacement, siding, foundation repair, or installing/replacement of gutters.
