(Atlantic) Pastor Ben Winford of New Life Church and Atlantic educator Justin Williams are spearheading an effort to provide meal transportation to Atlantic Community Schools students in need.
The Atlantic Community Schools is providing food to students Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Atlantic Middle School loading dock. Individuals will be handed meals through their car windows, so no one needs to get out of their car.
Justin Williams says the service is only for the students without transportation to the Middle School. “As a teacher, I am concerned about our kids,” said Williams. “We’ve had a few people reach out, and we would love more people to reach out if they need us.”
