(Sidney) A Muscatine, Iowa woman is jailed on a warrant in connection with a Fremont County attempted murder investigation.
United States Authorities arrested 27-year old Anahi Andrade in El Paso, Texas on Thursday, entering the United States from Mexico. The woman was wanted in Fremont County for Aiding and Abetting Flight to avoid prosecution. Anahi Andrade allegedly assisted Pedro Andrade, wanted in Fremont County for attempted Murder, in fleeing the country. U.S. Marshalls arrested Pedro Andrade in Mexico on February 14.
Pedro Andrade is accused of pushing a co-worker off a grain bin on October, 10th, 2019. Allegedly, Andrade unhooked the victim’s safety line and pushed him off the catwalk. The victim fell 60-feet onto a gravel parking lot. Authorities allege Andrade pushed the man because the victim allegedly had an affair with Andrade’s wife.
Both Anahi Andrade and Pedro Andrade are being held in the Fremont County jail on $100,000 cash bonds.
