(Atlantic) Two incumbents and one former County Supervisor filed papers for public office on the first filing day.
According to the Cass County Auditor’s Office, Incumbent Republican Dale Sunderman has filed papers for County Auditor. Incumbent Republican Cass County Sheriff Darby McLaren has filed papers for re-election, and former County Supervisor and CACO Director Democrat Russell Joyce has filed documents for the District 5 Board of Supervisor seat. Frank Waters currently occupies the seat. Mr. Waters recently announced he would not seek re-election.
The deadline to file papers for the General Election is March 20. The deadline to file documents for the Primary Election is March 25.
