(Red Oak) Red Oak firefighters battled a blaze at the Bunge Plant in Red Oak on Wednesday evening.
Red Oak Fire Chief John Bruce says the call went out at 5:39 p.m. He says firefighters were at the scene for about two-hours.
Bruce says a computerized processing system malfunctioned causing the processed grain to overheat. He says they were able to contain the fire to the outside stacks, however, Bruce says there was heavy damage.
No one was injured. The Montgomery County Emergency Management Office assisted the Red Oak Department at the scene.
