(Sidney) A juvenile suffered minor injuries in a hit-and-run accident in Sidney.
According to the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at around 4:09 p.m. in the area of Filmore Street and Illinois Street.
Witnesses told authorities a vehicle turning left from Filmore Street to Illinois Street struck one of the two juveniles crossing the street. The vehicle briefly stopped and then fled the scene. Sidney Rescue transported the juvenile to Grape Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The car in question is a smaller red vehicle. Witnesses described the driver as wearing glasses and no facial hair.
