(Atlantic) The Cass County Board of Supervisors approved three appointments at their meeting this morning.
The Board first approved the appointment of Nadein King as a nonresident member of the Lewis Public Library Board of Trustees. They also approved the appointments of Natalie Ritter and LaVon Eblen to the Cass County Local Foods Policy Council. Jan Steffens and DeAnn Schriener resigned from the Cass County Local Foods Policy Council.
Supervisor Steve Green said the Cass County Local Foods Policy Council is looking for people interested in what they do to join the Council.
The Supervisors also set March 3rd as the date for a public hearing for the maximum property tax to be levied for the general county services and rural county service funds for fiscal year 2021.
And, the supervisors gave approval to sign a new 28E to be part of the Southwest Iowa Mental Health and Disability Service Region.
