(Villisca) A fire destroyed a home and its contents in Villisca on Friday night.
According to the Montgomery County Emergency Management Office, Villisca Fire and Rescue responded at around 8:15 p.m. to 3269 260th Street to a structure fire. When they arrived firefighters attempted to enter the home to stop the fire from spreading inside the structure. There were no injuries reported.
Authorities say the cause of the fire is under investigation.
