(Atlantic) The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reports five arrests and one injury accident.
Blake Michael Zweck, 23, of Madison, Wisconsin, was arrested February 3rd on a District Court warrant for Violation of Probation. Zweck was taken to the Cass County Jail and later released upon sentencing.
Jenny Rana Reese, 48 of Clarinda, was arrested February 7th for OWI 2nd Offense. Reese was taken to the Cass County Jail and released the following day on her own recognizance.
Daniel Fredrick Compton, 77, of Bridgewater, was arrested February 8th as the result of a traffic stop. Compton was charged with OWI 1st Offense. Dawn Marie Good, 61, of Bridgewater, was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine 1st Offense. Both were taken to the Cass County Jail and released the following day on their own recognizance.
Justin Paul Parker, 38, of Adair, was arrested February 9th for Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Parker was taken to the Cass County Jail and held on $25,000 bond.
The Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle accident on White Pole Road at approximately 12:40 p.m. on February 5th. A 2013 Chevy Cruze, driven by 49-year-old Kelly Ann Stonehocker, of Adair, was following a slow-moving vehicle when the Chevy was rear-ended by a 2003 Ford Focus driven by 18-year-old Katelynn Michelle Scar, of Adair. A passenger in the Chevy was transported to Cass County Memorial Hospital via Anita Fire and Rescue for possible injury. Scar was cited for Following Too Close.
