(Harlan) The Harlan School Board this week accepted one resignation, approved two contracts and recognized Harlan Head Basketball Coach Mitch Osborn for earning his 700th career win.
Harlan Schools Superintendent Lynn Johnson says Osborn’s recognition came from the desk of Principal, Scott Frohlich, and Athletic Director Davis Pattee.
Johnson says the Principals also recognized some of the student accomplishments.
The board also approved contracts for James Cairney, Assistant High School Track Coach, and Devin Yeoman, High School Science Teacher. In addition to that, the board accepted the resignation of Cassey Leinen, Primary School Special Education Associate.
Johnson says the district is currently advertising for three positions. Those positions include; High School Business Teacher, Middle School Special Education, and Head Football Coach.
The board also discussed the next Community Engagement meeting set for Monday, March 9, at 7:00 p.m. The back-up date is Tuesday, March 17th, at 7:00 p.m.
