(Atlantic) Two people were arrested on drug paraphernalia charges in Cass County.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says 31-year-old Andre Alexander Shupe, of Council Bluffs, and 31-year-old Heather Lynn Charles, of Omaha, Nebraska, were arrested January 31st following a report of a traffic hazard on I-80 westbound.
Shupe was charged with Providing False ID Information and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Charles was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both were taken to the Cass County Jail. Shupe was also held on a detainer for Nebraska authorities for Probation Revocation. Shupe remains held awaiting transfer to Nebraska. Charles pled guilty the following day and was released.
The Sheriff’s Office also arrested 30-year-old James Michael Howard, of Atlantic, on February 3rd for Theft 2nd and Criminal Mischief 5th Degree. Howard was taken to the Cass County Jail where he was held on $5,000 bond.
