(Neola) After a very tight first quarter, Tri-Center got the first bucket of the second quarter and never trailed the rest of the night. The Trojans posted a 48-35 non-conference win at home over Griswold.
The Tigers led 11-10 following an opening frame that had five lead changes. Griswold’s biggest lead of the game was 10-5, but Tri-Center took control of the contest with a 20-3 span and eventually took a 27-16 halftime lead. Griswold scored the first five points of the second half to make it a six point game, but that was as close as it would be for the remainder of the game.
Madison Ausdemore scored 23 points to lead all scorers while Griswold had two in double figures. Mikala Pelzer scored 12 and McKenna Wiechman 11 for the 2-13 Tigers. Tri-Center moves to 3-13 on the season.
