(Atlantic) The Republican Caucuses in Cass County will be held February 3rd at 7:00 p.m.
Activity at each location will be:
- Selecting persons to be the Precinct meeting chair and secretary.
- Holding the Presidential Poll.
- Selecting individuals to serve on the County Central Committee, Delegates and Junior Delegates to the County Convention on March 14.
- Discuss amendments to the County Platform.
David Wiederstein, Cass County Republican Party Chairman, said “I anticipate the meetings will move along pretty quick as the Republicans have their candidate in President Trump. The other items of party business do not take much time to go through. Many of us Republicans may be in bed already by the time the Democrats have completed voting in their caucuses. With quite a high number of candidates on the Democrat side, combined with the particularly complex system in which the Democrats select their preferences will make for a long night for many Democrat caucus-goers.”
