(Des Moines) The 2020 Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa will start in Le Mars and end in Clinton. Officials revealed the route for the 48th edition on Saturday night.
The ride from July 19 to July 25, will start in Le Mars, with overnight stays in Storm Lake, Fort Dodge, Iowa Falls, Waterloo, Anamosa, Maquoketa, and end in Clinton.
The route covers 420.3 miles with 12,306 feet climb. This will be the sixth shortest in ride history and comes in as Number 29 for most feet of climb.
The entire route, including pass-through towns is expected to be released in March.
