(Creston) Creston Police are investigating a house and a car break-in.
According to Police, Kevin Gibbens said his home had been broken into, sometime between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on January 23. Missing is a Howa 1500 .308 rifle with a scope and a small bat. The estimated value of the missing items is $720.00.
Eric Smart reported to authorities sometime between 9:00 p.m. on January 22 and 8:00 a.m. on January 23; someone broke into his car. The missing items include; $100 Casey’s gift card, Hy-Vee fuel saver card, pack of cigarettes, Samsung phone charger, and two separate sets of keys. The loss is estimated at $227.00.
