Shenandoah man transported to the hospital following an accident in Mills County

(Emerson) A Shenandoah man was transported to the hospital following a single-vehicle accident in Mills County Friday morning.

The Mills County Sheriff’s Office says 75-year-old Charles Walker was driving a 2005 Jeep eastbound on Highway 34, near Highway 59, when he lost control due to the weather conditions. The Jeep ended up in the north ditch.

Walker was transported to the Montgomery County Hospital by Red Oak Rescue.
