(Des Moines) Bitter cold temperatures are forecast again tonight into Monday.
The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a Wind Chill Advisory for central, southwest and west-central Iowa from midnight tonight to 9:00 a.m. on Monday.
The forecast calls for temperatures to dip well below zero with chill values falling to 20-below zero or lower.
Frostbite can occur on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Use caution while traveling, wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
