Viking freshman Brayden Lund had a career high 20 points and also secured 7 rebounds. Raydden Grobe added 15 points for the 10-1 Vikings. Aiden Bell was Riverside’s top scorer with 12 points.
Atlantic 56, Clarinda 51
Tyler Moen posted 14 points in his return from injury, Craig Alan Becker pitched in 11, and Dayton Templeton stepped up with a career high 10. Atlantic overcame a double-digit deficit in the first half. Nathan Lindsay led Clarinda with 26 points.
Audubon 45, Missouri Valley 29
The Wheelers allowed just 10 points in the 2nd half. They’ve won four of their last five games to jump one game above .500. Skyler Schultes went 5/6 at the free-throw line and led the team with 16 points. Schultes also had 11 rebounds and 3 steals. Marcus Olsen scored 9.
Boyer Valley 60, CAM 59
Boyer Valley avenges a previous 44-43 loss. Connor McKee led CAM with 15 points on 5/7 shooting, 3/4 from 3-point range, and 2/2 at the line. Nate Hensley had 14 points and 7 rebounds. Ethan Arp contributed 9 points. Colby Rich finished with 8 points and 6 assists. CAM lost the game despite going 12/20 beyond the arc. The Cougars outscored Boyer Valley in the 1st, 3rd, and 4th quarters, but a 21-12 Bulldog advantage in the 2nd quarter was the difference.
Exira-EHK 49, Glidden-Ralston 43
Creighton Nelson’s 18 point and 11 rebound double-double propelled the Spartans to their 5th win in the last 6 games. Tyler Petersen contributed 12 points and 4 assists. Hunter Andersen collected 5 assists and 4 steals.
Glenwood 74, Harlan 67
The Rams ended the game on a 15-3 stretch. Ryan Blum and Zach Carr each scored 20. Ben Hughes and John Palmer both scored 15. Harlan was led by 18 each from Connor Bruck and Michael Heithoff.
Madrid 70, ACGC 63
The Chargers were led by 21 points from Bryce Littler. He made 7/13 from the field and 4/8 from deep. Lucas Marsh added 12 points, Quynton Younker 11, and Eli Kading 10. Miles Kading racked up 7 assists.
