(Council Bluffs) A Council Bluffs man faces charges in connection with a stabbing at a Council Bluffs Residence.
Council Bluffs Police were called to 813 Harrison Street early Wednesday morning for a report of a stabbing. Following the investigation, Police charged 60-year old Dwight D. Poore with two-counts of Willful Injury.
According to Police, Poore was upset with 32-year old Jesse Poore over allegations that Jess had sexually abused a family member. During the confrontation, Dwight pulled out a knife and stabbed Jesse in the back. Dwight also cut his wife’s hand with the knife as he was leaving the scene.
Authorities located Dwight D. Poore a short time later and transported him to the Pottawattamie County Jail.
