(Stuart) One person was hurt in an Adair County crash Sunday afternoon.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at around 2:10 p.m. on westbound Interstate 80 near the 89-mile marker. Authorities say 44-year old Friderich Tohannes Erich Goldschagg of South Africa was injured in the accident.
According to the report; Goldschagg was driving a westbound 2015 Ford F150 pickup in the left lane when it veered across the right lane, entered the ditch and struck a tree. State Police says a medical issue may have caused the accident.
Adair County Rescue transported Goldschagg to the Adair County Hospital for treatment.
