Atlantic/CAM (2-0)
The Trojans got dual wins over Kuemper Catholic and Lewis Central to keep pace with Harlan atop the Hawkeye Ten Conference standings. Both the Trojans and the Cyclones are undefeated.
Atlantic’s win over Kuemper Catholic was by a 59-13 final and featured pins from Payton Fewson (182), Cole Park (195), Cale Roller (285), Easton O’Brien (106), Joe Weaver (126), Brian South (145), and Jarrett Armstrong (152). Registering a tech fall was Kadin Stutzman (152) while Brenden Casey (170) and Jaxson Bell (132) each won by decision.
Against Lewis Central the final was 40-27 in Atlantic/CAM’s favor. Jarrett Armstrong (160), Cale Roller (285), Ethan Follman (120), and Joe Weaver (126) all won by fall. Kadin Stutzman (152) took Class 3A top ten ranked Tanner Higgins down to the wire, but fell by a point.
Harlan (2-0)
The Cyclones keep their perfect dual record alive and are tied for first in the Hawkeye Ten race with Atlantic/CAM.
In a 67-9 win vs Clarinda pins came from Sammy Schmitz (106), Wyatt Obrecht (138), Dalton McKinley (145), and Jesse Schwery (285). Luke Musich (126) posted a major decision and Ethan Lemon (132) win by decision.
Harlan beat Shenandoah 72-0 behind pins from Wyatt Obrecht (138), Reece Schwery (152), and Mason Griffith (160). Decision victories were earned by Matt Schwery (170) and Carter Bendorf (182).
Nodaway Valley (1-1)
Each team got one win in Greenfield in a triangular featuring Nodaway Valley, Mount Ayr, and East Union.
The Wolverines downed Mount Ayr 36-33 with pins out of Austin Wilson (170), Elliot Cooney (113), and Jaxon Christensen (126).
In a 36-33 loss to East Union Jaxon Christensen (126) and Jevin Christensen (145) won by fall. Tyler Breheny (152) won a 6-4 decision.
ACGC (0-3)
The Chargers fell to SE Valley 72-12, Panorama 50-15, and Ogden 42-39.
Cale Rowley (145/152) posted two pins on the night and Seth Danker (126) had one. Decision winners were Cayden Jensen (138) and Dawson Muller (120).
Griswold (0-4)
The Tigers lost to Clarinda Academy (36-12), East Mills (60-12), SW Iowa (60-12), and Tarkio, MO (60-18).
Seth Butler (220) posted three pins on the night, Sam Olson (195) registered two pins, and Walker Brosam (152) won by fall once.
